ASCII Art is one of the first forms of graphics for computers
because graphics cards hadn't been invented yet and ingenious users learned
how to create pictures using nothing more than the keyboard. In fact,
even before computers, people were doing the same thing on the old teletype
machines. Some think that ASCII graphics are too simple and old
fashioned in today's high resolution pictures and drawings but I think they
are kind of fun. Here are a few you have seen me use in chat
rooms. If you want some others, let me know.
