The Goal
You want to show pictures in a chat room but you have no home page to upload them to or, if you do, they won't let you remote post (show the URLs in a chat room) Most free web hosts will not allow this. So what do you need to do...pay for a home page so you can do that? Well, that's one solution but if you are not really interested or ready to have a home page, there is another solution and it costs nothing but a little time.
First and foremost, you need a program that lets you work with pictures and graphics...one that will at least allow you to resize and maybe lighten or darken pictures a little and then resave them. Photos are best saved as .jpg files. If you have a digital camera you probably got such a program with it.
If you don't have a program like that, here is a popular free one. Irfanview. Just click HERE to check it out and download it.
Doing it
Ok, you got this far...what next? Well, you need to get it on the Internet so you can have a URL to post.
HINT: This is also a great way to send photos to a friend or relative if you aren't happy about having to send bulky attachments in an email. Images Hosted will keep your photos indefinitely if its clicked on at least once every year. Otherwise you will need to upload it again.
NOTE: Free Hosts such as Images Hosted are subject to start charging for their service or even disappear from Internet. If this happens to you, let me know and I will remove this info page.
